Please note: This procedure applies to models from 1996 with the Central SFI system and models with the SFI system.
1. Disconnect the battery from ground.
2. Decompress the fuel system. Remove the air intake duct.
3. Disconnect the wires from the air valve and throttle position sensor.
4. Disconnect the throttle cables and cruise control at the throttle body (if provided).
5. Remove the throttle cable bracket.
6. Loosen the bolts and remove the throttle body.
7. Installation is performed in the reverse order. Pre-clean the surface under the gasket and replace the gasket. After completion, check the freedom of movement of the accelerator pedal.
