We carry out the work when the tank is empty or when there is no more than 5 liters of fuel left in it. We disconnect the wiring harness block from the fuel module (see Removal and disassembling the fuel module).
We unscrew the bolts securing the parking brake cable brackets to the body and remove the cables from the holders (see Removal the parking brake system components). Disconnect the filler pipe and the ventilation pipe from the fuel tank pipes (see Removal the filler pipe). Through the opening of the branch pipe, you can use a hose to pump fuel out of the tank.
At the front of the fuel tank…

...by pressing the lock of the plastic tube for removing fuel vapors from the adsorber, we disconnect the tip from the metal tube of the adsorber purge valve.

Similarly, we disconnect the tip of the plastic fuel supply tube from the other metal tube.
At the rear of the fuel tank…

...by pressing the lock on the tip of the fuel vapor supply tube to the adsorber, we disconnect the tip from the fuel tank gravity valve tube.
We install a height-adjustable support under the fuel tank, placing a wooden block between it and the tank.

Using a high 12 mm socket, unscrew the nuts securing the two clamps that hold the tank to the body.

Having lowered the tank onto the support, we remove the holders of the fuel vapor discharge tube from the adsorber from the tank flange.

We remove the fuel tank from the space between the additional muffler pipe and the bottom of the body and remove the tank.
We install the fuel tank in the reverse order.
After filling the tank with fuel, turn on the ignition and check the tightness of the fuel line connections.
