1. Loosen the right front wheel nuts, raise the vehicle, install vertical supports and remove the right front wheel.
2. Remove the mudguard.
3. Remove the right drive shaft (see subsection 12).
4. Screw the impact adapter into the hole located at the end of the intermediate shaft. Connect the impact tool to the adapter.
5. Pull the intermediate shaft out of the differential, being careful not to damage the seal located on the opposite side of the pan.
6. Make sure there is a snap ring on the left end of the intermediate shaft. Insert the intermediate shaft into the differential through the engine sump channel, being careful not to damage the seal. If necessary, rotate the shaft to align the splines.
7. Attach an impact tool to the shaft, then use it to insert the shaft into the differential until the retaining ring engages.
8. The rest of the assembly procedure is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
