
2. Remove the stabilizer bar, disconnect the steering rod end from the steering knuckle.
3. Unscrew the hub nut and remove the washer.
4. Unscrew the axle shaft flange bolts.
5. Support the lower suspension arm with a jack.
Caution! The jack must remain in this position until assembly is complete.
7. Disconnect the upper control arm from the steering knuckle. If necessary, disconnect the brake hose bracket and the speed sensor wire.
8. Using a puller, press the outer axle out of the hub assembly, then remove the axle.
Warning! After removing the axle shaft or unscrewing the hub nut, do not support the vehicle on the front wheels. Otherwise, the front wheel bearing races will come out of the hub, which will lead to damage to the front brakes, suspension components and injuries.
9. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Tighten all suspension and steering fasteners to the specified torques.
