Removal procedure

1. Remove the seal unit (1) of the front drive axle intermediate shaft.

Installation procedure

Important: DT-48078 sets the seal to the specified depth. Other installation methods may result in the seal not being seated to the working depth.

1. Using Primary Seal Installer DT-48078 and Guide Handle J-8092, install the front drive axle intermediate shaft seal assembly (1).
