Disassembling the intermediate drive shaft (Chevrolet Captiva 1)

Necessary equipment

J–22912–01: Universal Bearing Puller

Disassembly procedure

1. Remove the axle shaft retainer (1), sealing ring (2) and bearing retainers (3) of the front wheel drive intermediate shaft from the shaft.



2. Using a press with the universal bearing puller J-22912-01, remove the bearing assembly (4) of the front wheel drive intermediate shaft.
