Removal procedure
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the lower glove box panel cover. See section 9E, "Instruments/Driver Information System".
3. Disconnect the electrical connector.
4. Remove the drive rod by freeing it from the lever using needle-nose pliers.
5. Remove the electric drive lever from the shaft by pulling it out.
6. Loosen the electric motor mounting screws.
7. Remove the temperature control flap actuator.
Installation procedure
1. Install the electric drive for the temperature control damper.
2. Tighten the mounting screws and secure them.
3. Press the lever onto the electric drive shaft.
4. Install the drive rod onto the lever.
5. Connect the electrical connector.
6. Install the glove box panel lower cover. See section 9E, "Instruments/Driver Information System".
7. Connect the negative battery cable.
