We set the gear shift lever to neutral position.
In the engine compartment…

…using a 12 mm open-end wrench or socket, loosen the bolt that secures the terminal connection between the gearbox control rod and the drive input shaft.
Inside the car…

...overcoming the resistance of the gearshift lever cover frame clamps, we remove the frame together with the cover and turn the cover inside out.

We move the gear shift lever to the left and, aligning the holes in the plastic lever stop and the control mechanism housing…

…we insert a mandrel into the holes – a rod with a diameter of 5.0 mm, for example, a drill shank.
In the engine compartment…

…turn the gearshift mechanism rod counterclockwise (for clarity, shown on a removed gearbox)…

…and we press the lock.
In these positions of the control rod and the drive input shaft, tighten the terminal connection bolt to a torque of 14 N·m.
Having removed the mandrel from the holes of the lever and the control mechanism housing, we turn the gear shift mechanism rod clockwise and remove the lock. We check the clarity of gear engagement and disengagement. If necessary, repeat the adjustment.
Further assembly is carried out in reverse order.
