Removal procedure
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the air conditioning unit. See "Air conditioning unit" in this section.
3. Remove the heater heat exchanger from the housing. See section 7A, "Heating and Ventilation System".
Installation procedure
1. Install the heater heat exchanger into the housing. See section 7A, "Heating and Ventilation System".
2. Install the air conditioner unit. See "Air conditioning unit" in this section.
3. Fill the cooling system. See section 1D, "Engine Cooling".
4. Connect the negative battery cable.
5. Evacuate and charge the air conditioning system. See "Procedures for discharging, refilling oil, vacuuming and charging the air conditioning system" in this section.
