Front wheel speed sensor (Chevrolet Captiva 1)

Removal procedure

1. Raise and secure the vehicle.

2. Remove the wheel and tire assembly.



3. Remove the brake disc.

4. Disconnect the wheel speed sensor electrical connector.



5. Loosen the wheel speed sensor mounting bolt.

6. Remove the wheel speed sensor.

Installation procedure

1. Install the wheel speed sensor to the wheel bearing/hub assembly.

2. Install the wheel speed sensor mounting bolt.

Tighten

Tighten the bolt to 8 N·m (71 lb-in).



3. Connect the wheel speed sensor electrical connector.

4. Install the wheel and tire assembly.

5. Lower the car.

6. Install the brake disc.
