Removal
1. Raise the vehicle and place safety posts under the frame.
2. Remove the front wheel.
3. Remove the brake disc.
4. Remove the wheel speed sensor wire support clip from the steering knuckle.
5. Remove the sensor wire support clip from the upper control arm.

6. Remove the wheel speed sensor wire support clip from the frame.
7. Disconnect the sensor connector.
8. Unscrew the sensor mounting bolt.

9. Remove the sensor from its seat in the wheel hub.
Note: Carefully pull the sensor out of the mounting hole with a straight upward movement. Do not use a lever to remove the sensor, as this may break the sensor housing.
Installation
1. Plug the bottom of the sensor mounting hole in the hub to prevent dirt from getting into the bearing grease.
2. Use a wire brush to clean the sensor seat.
3. Apply a thin layer of grease from the repair kit to the sensor seat and O-ring.
Caution: Use only the grease provided in the repair kit.
4. Install the sensor into the hub seat.
5. Install and tighten the sensor mounting bolt. Tightening torque 18 N·m.
6. Route the sensor wires, secure the wires with clips. Make sure there is no harmful contact between the sensor and the vehicle parts.
7. Connect the sensor wiring connector.
8. Install the brake disc.
9. Install the front wheel.
10. Perform system diagnostics.
