Rear suspension shock absorber (Chevrolet Captiva 1)

Removal procedure

1. Raise and support the vehicle.

2. Remove the lower shock absorber mounting bolt.



3. Remove the upper shock absorber mounting bolt.

4. Remove the shock absorber from the vehicle.

Installation procedure

1. Install the shock absorber on the car.

2. Install the upper shock absorber mounting bolt.

Tighten

Tighten the bolt to a torque of 110 Nm (81 lb-ft).



3. Install the lower shock absorber mounting bolt.



Tighten

Tighten the bolt to a torque of 110 Nm (81 lb-ft).



4. Lower the car.
