Removal procedure



1. Raise and support the vehicle.

2. Remove the coil spring. See section in this section "Rear Coil Spring/Insulators".

3. Remove the compression stroke buffer.

3. Remove the compression stroke buffer.


Installation procedure



1. Install the compression buffer to the body panel.

2. Tighten the hex bolt securing the compression buffer to the body panel.

Tighten

Tighten the bolt to a torque of 15 Nm (11 ft·lbs).

3. Lower the car.

4. Check the rear wheel alignment. See Part 2B. Wheel alignment.
