Caution! Do not smoke or use open flames in areas where work is being performed on the fuel system. When working on the fuel system, disconnect the negative battery cable except for those checks that require battery voltage.


Removal procedure



1. Remove the injector return hose.

Important: Do not tighten the clamp, but only press it and simultaneously disconnect the return hose of the injector. If you remove the clamp from the injector, it will not be possible to reuse it.

2. Disconnect the return hose of the injection pump.

3. Disconnect the common rail return hose.

4. Remove the junction block retaining bolts.

5. Remove the fuel return line assembly.

Installation procedure



1. Install the fuel return line assembly.

2. Connect the return hose of the common rail.

Important: Press the return pipe of the injector by hand from top to bottom vertically into the injector until you hear a click of the connecting part falling into place.


3. Connect the return hose of the injection pump.

4. Install the junction block.

Tighten

Tighten the junction block mounting bolts to 11 Nm (97.4 lbs.in).
