Evaporative emission control system (EVAP) adsorber filter (Chevrolet Captiva 1)

Removal procedure

1. Remove the Evaporative Coolant Absorber assembly. See "Assembled SUPB adsorber" in this section.

2. Loosen the clamp and disconnect the EGR canister purge hose from the EGR canister filter.

3. Remove the EGR canister filter by disconnecting the clamps from the EGR canister bracket.

Installation procedure

1. Install the SUPB adsorber filter onto the SUPB adsorber bracket.

2. Connect the purge hose of the EGR canister to the EGR canister filter.

3. Install the ECU canister assembly. See "Assembled SUPB adsorber" in this section.
