Disassembling the valve block (Chevrolet Captiva 1)

Note: The valve block can only be serviced as a unit. The only components that can be serviced separately are the shift solenoids and the range selector valve.


1. Remove the range selector valve.
  • Remove the range selector valve.

Remove the range selector valve.


2. Remove shift solenoid valves SS1, SS2, SS3, SS4 and SS5.
  • Remove 5 bolts and 5 solenoid valves.

Remove 5 bolts and 5 solenoid valves.


Remove 5 bolts and 5 solenoid valves.
