Engine number
The Engine Identification Number (VIN) is located on the left rear side of the cylinder block (1) and typically consists of nine digits.
- The first digit indicates the engine option.
- The second digit indicates the year of manufacture.
- The third digit indicates the manufacturer.
- Digits four through nine indicate the engine serial number.

Automatic transmission number
The number is stamped on the automatic transmission housing, in the place shown in the figure.
Note: Depending on the country of delivery, automatic transmission numbers differ from each other.

Transfer case number
The transfer case number is stamped on the transfer case body in the location shown in the figure.

- 1. Model number.
- A. First digit: 1 - single-stage, 2 - two-stage.
- B. Second digit: 2 - T-Utility, 3 - T-Truck, L-Van, 4 or 6 - K-Truck, Utility.
- C. Third digit: 1 - mechanical switching, 3 - electrical switching, 6 - automatic switching, 9 - permanent all-wheel drive.

- 3. Serial number - date and switching code.
- 4. Lowest gear ratio.
Front axle number
The front axle number is stamped on the top of the differential housing.

The rear axle number is stamped on the right axle next to the differential housing.
