A lockable differential is available as an option. Such a differential increases the ability of the rear axle to redistribute traction on the wheels when the wheels are on the road with different grip properties. Thrust redistribution is achieved in two ways. First, having a set of clutch discs on each side of the differential limits slip between the wheels (limited slip differential). Secondly, a mechanical differential lock is used, when turned on, both wheels of the axle will rotate at the same speed.
