Steering wheel/column mounted controls (Chevrolet Trailblazer 1)

1. The following controls are installed on the steering wheel and steering column of your vehicle (see illustration).

Multifunctional lever



2. This lever A is used to control the direction indicators, windshield wipers, cruise control system and switching on the low and high beam headlights.

3. To sound the horn, press the steering wheel hub at points B, where the horn symbol is located.

Hazard warning light switch



4. If you press the hazard warning light switch C, the front and rear direction indicators will flash. This switch operates regardless of the position of the key in the ignition switch, and even when the key is removed from the ignition switch. To turn off the hazard warning lights, press the switch again. When the hazard warning lights are on, the turn signals do not work.

5. You can adjust the tilt of the steering wheel to one of several possible positions. To adjust the tilt of the steering wheel, pull lever D. Set the steering wheel to the desired position and release the lever



Warning: Do not adjust the steering wheel while the vehicle is moving. Do not use the highest steering wheel position to steer the vehicle. When the steering wheel is in this position, the airbag cannot effectively perform its protective function. It is recommended to use the highest steering wheel position only to facilitate getting in and out of the vehicle.

6. The Driver Information Center provides information on the status of many vehicle systems.

7. The G control buttons are located on the steering wheel. The information center display is located at the bottom of the instrument panel. See subsection "Driver Information Center" higher.

Accelerator and service brake pedal position regulator (additional equipment)



8. If the vehicle is equipped with adjustable accelerator and service brake pedals, then the H regulator is located on the steering column.
