Removal procedure



1. Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.

2. Remove the upper and lower steering column covers.

2. Remove the upper and lower steering column covers.


3. Remove the nuts and bolts securing the steering column.

4. Disconnect the steering column electrical connector.

5. Lower the steering column.

5. Lower the steering column.


6. Unscrew the screw and remove the immobilizer (PK3+)

Note: Perform SPO reprogramming when replacing the immobilizer (PK3+).

Installation procedure



1. Install the immobilizer (PK3+) and tighten the screw.

2. Raise the steering column.

3. Connect the steering column electrical connector.

4. Tighten the steering column mounting screws.

Tighten

Tighten the steering column cover screws to 1.5 Nm (13 lbs.in).

5. Install the upper and lower steering column covers.

6. Connect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery.
