Security alarm sensor (shake) (Chevrolet Captiva 1)

Removal procedure

1. Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.

2. Remove the individual lighting lampshade. See Section 9B "Lighting systems".

3. Disconnect the alarm sensor connector.

4. Loosen the screws and remove the alarm sensor bracket.

5. Remove the security alarm sensor from the individual lighting fixture.

Installation procedure

1. Install the tilt sensor and bracket with screws.

2. Connect the alarm sensor connector.

3. Install individual lighting fixture. See Section 9B "Lighting systems".

4. Connect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery.
