2. Remove the distributor cap and rotor.
3. Remove the ignition distributor.
4. Disconnect the wire from the ignition module (see photo).
5. Connect the ohmmeter to the sensor terminal and to ground (see photo). The ohmmeter should show infinite resistance. Otherwise, replace the sensor.
6. Connect an ohmmeter between the sensor terminals, the resistance between which should be 500-1500 Ohm. Otherwise, replace the sensor.
7. Mark the position of the distributor shaft and gear with a line.
8. Carefully clamp the distributor in a vice with jaws and remove the pin from the shaft and gear (see photo). Remove the distributor shaft (see photo).
9. Remove the retaining ring and remove the sensor (see photo).
10. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
