Electronic Ignition Module (Pre-1995 Models) — Replacement (Chevrolet Tahoe 1)

1. Disconnect the battery from ground. Remove the air filter.

2. Remove the distributor cap together with the wires.

3. Remove the runner.

4. Carefully disconnect the wire connectors from the module (see photo).



5. Loosen the screws and remove the module.

Attention! The ignition module is checked on special equipment in a car service.

6. Installation is performed in reverse order. Lubricate the module pad with the silicone insulating grease supplied with the new module (see photo). The use of other lubricants is prohibited, otherwise the electronic module will fail due to overheating.
