Removal procedure

1. Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.

2. Remove the liftgate lock cylinder and the integrated liftgate test switch. See Section 9S, Rear of the Body.

Installation procedure

1. Install the liftgate lock cylinder and integral liftgate test switch. See Section 9S, Rear of the Body.

2. Connect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery.
