Engine mount assembly (right side) (Chevrolet Captiva 1)

Necessary equipment

DW 110–060 Engine clamping fixture

Removal procedure

Caution: Raise the engine sufficiently to relieve the load on the engine mount, otherwise damage to the mount and failure of the lifting equipment may occur.

1. Support the engine assembly using the DW110-060 engine clamp.



2. Remove the engine mount adapter retaining bolts from the engine mount support bracket.

3. Remove the lock bolt and nuts from the side bracket of the engine mount frame.

4. Remove the engine mount assembly.

Installation procedure

1. Install the engine mount assembly.

Tighten

Tighten the engine mount frame side bracket locking bolt to 100 Nm (74 ft·lbs), and nuts with a torque of 90 Nm (66 ft·lbs).



Tighten the engine mount adapter retaining bolts to 50 Nm (37 ft·lbs).

2. Remove the engine assembly fixture DW110-060.
