Removal
1. Remove the ceiling panel.
2. Disconnect the sunroof drive motor wiring connector.
3. Loosen the two screws securing the electric motor. Tightening torque 2 Nm.
4. Pull the electric motor off the gearbox. To make removal easier, gently rock and turn the electric motor.
Installation
5. Installation is carried out in reverse order. After installation, synchronize the drive.
Synchronization
Note: The sunroof drive synchronization must be performed each time after removing and installing the drive electric motor.
1. Turn the ignition key to the ON position, do not start the engine.
2. Switch "Close/Tilt" (close / tilt) set the sunroof glass to the maximum ventilation position. This operation may take 20 - 30 seconds.
3. After performing the operation according to point 2, hold the switch for another 20 seconds. A slight movement of the glass will indicate the end of the synchronization operation.
4. Check the operation of the hatch in all directions.
