Rear bumper trim panel (Chevrolet Tahoe 2)

Removal

Except Avalanche/Escalade EXT

1. Remove the rear wheel arch extensions.

2. Unscrew the bolts (1) of the rear bumper trim panel.



3. Remove the three bolts (2) of the rear bumper trim panel.

• a) Disconnect the rear object distance sensor wiring connector located on the right side of the panel and other wiring connectors.
• b) Loosen the bolts securing the trim panel to the rear wing. Do not pull the panel.

4. Unscrew the four bolts (3) of the rear bumper trim panel. Tightening torque 9 Nm.

5. Remove the two plastic clips (4).

6. Remove the trim panel.

7. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

Avalanche/Escalade EXT

1. Remove the rear wheel arch extensions.

2. Remove the side and central footrest trim from the rear bumper.

3. Remove the two plastic clips (1).



4. Disconnect the wiring connectors from the trim panel.



5. Remove the trim panel.

Note: When removing the bumper trim panel, the bezel of the spare wheel lift access cover may be broken, replace the bezel.

Installation

6. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
