Note: This check should only be performed after replacing the throttle body or TPS sensor, or after the minimum idle speed adjustment has been performed.
92. Connect a digital voltmeter between the center terminal B of the TPS connector and the outer terminal A (it is necessary to make transition wires for connection to the connector terminals).
93. With the engine off and the ignition on, check that the voltage at the TPS sensor is less than that specified in the technical data at the beginning of the chapter. If the voltage exceeds the specified value, check the minimum idle speed before replacing the TPS sensor.
