Checking and replacing the rear brake damper (Chevrolet Orlando 1)

            0

We perform the work during the inspection of the technical condition of the brake system.

Note: Some vehicles do not have a damper installed.

1. We prepare the vehicle for maintenance and repair, and install it on an inspection pit or overpass.

2. Inspect the dampers and check the reliability of their fastening.

Recommendation. If the damper is deformed or has other mechanical damage, it should be replaced. If the stud on which it is installed is bent, it also needs to be replaced.

3. To replace the damper, use a slotted screwdriver to pry up the plug and move it to the side.
