Removal procedure



1. Raise and support the vehicle.

2. Remove the tires and wheels. See Part 2E. Tires and wheels.

3. Remove the muffler and resonator assembly. See Part 1G2/1G3. Engine exhaust system.

4. Remove the stabilizer bar. See section in this part "Stabilizer bar".

5. Remove the lower control arm assembly from the support.

6. Disconnect the upper control arm from the support assembly.

7. Disconnect the toe arm from the support assembly. See the section "Toe Lever" in this section.

8. Remove the bolts securing the support to the body and remove the support assembly from the vehicle.

Installation procedure



1. Position the support assembly toward the vehicle.

2. Install the support mounting bolts to the body.

Tighten

Tighten the support mounting bolts to the body until a torque of 170 N·m is reached (125 ft·lbs).

3. Attach the toe arm to the support assembly. See the section in this section "Toe-in lever".

4. Attach the upper control arm to the support assembly.

5. Install the lower control arm onto the support assembly.

6. Install the stabilizer bar. See the section in this section "Rear suspension stabilizer bar".

7. Install the muffler and resonator assembly. See Part 1G2/1G3. Engine exhaust system.

8. Install tires and wheels. See Part 2E. Tires and wheels.

9. Lower the car.

10. Check the rear wheel alignment. See Part 2B. Wheel alignment.
