Removal procedure
1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Remove the tire and wheel. See Part 2E. Tires and wheels.

3. Remove the wheel bearing/hub assembly.
4. Tighten the nut and bolt securing the upper control arm to the steering knuckle.

5. Remove the nut and bolt securing the lower control arm to the steering knuckle.

6. Remove the nut and bolt securing the toe-in lever to the steering knuckle.

7. Remove the bolts securing the longitudinal blade to the steering knuckle.
8. Remove the fist from the car.

Installation procedure
1. Install the steering knuckle onto the lower control arm. Install the bolt and put on the nut.

2. Install the steering knuckle onto the upper control arm. Install the bolt and put on the nut.

3. Install the steering knuckle onto the toe arm. Install the bolt and put on the nut.

4. Install the steering knuckle onto the longitudinal blade. Install the bolt and put on the nut.
5. Tighten the bolts and nuts in the following sequence:
Tighten
- Tighten the nut and bolt securing the steering knuckle to the lower suspension arm until the torque reaches 160 N·m (118 ft·lbs).
- Tighten the nut and bolt securing the steering knuckle to the upper suspension arm until the torque reaches 160 N·m (118 ft·lbs).
- Tighten the nut and bolt securing the steering knuckle to the toe arm until a torque of 160 N·m is reached (118 ft·lbs).
- Tighten the bolts securing the steering knuckle to the longitudinal blade until a torque of 110 N·m is reached (81 lb-ft).
6. Install the wheel bearing/hub assembly.
7. Install the tire and wheel.
8. Lower the car.
9. Perform wheel alignment adjustment on your vehicle. See Part 2B. Wheel alignment.
