2. Place a jack under the lower arm so that the coil spring is compressed to its normal length, corresponding to the full load of the vehicle.
Attention! Do not remove the jack until the work is completely completed.
3. Remove the wheel.
4. Remove the brake caliper (see Chapter 9) and brake disc/hub assembly.
5. Remove the disc mudguard (provided for some vehicles).
6. Disconnect the tie rod end from the steering knuckle.
7. Disconnect the ball joints of the control arms from the steering knuckle.
8. Remove the steering knuckle.
9. Installation is performed in the reverse order. Adjust the front wheel bearings. Check and, if necessary, adjust the front wheel alignment angles.
