Stabilizer bar — removal and installation (Chevrolet Tahoe 1)

1. Raise the vehicle and place it on stands.

2. Loosen the stabilizer link mounting bolt nuts and remove the stabilizer link mounting bolts (see photo).

Attention! Store parts and fasteners removed from the left and right parts of the stabilizer separately.

3. Loosen the stabilizer bar bracket mounting bolt (see photo).

4. Remove the stabilizer bar.

5. Remove the rubber bushings.

6. Check the condition of all parts, for wear and damage.

7. When installing the rubber bushings on the stabilizer bar, orient them so that the slots on the bushings face the front of the vehicle.

8. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
