1. Unscrew the upper shock absorber mounting nut (see photo), holding the shock absorber with a key by the rod.

3. Raise the vehicle and place it on stands.

4. Working under the vehicle, remove the 2 bolts securing the lower shock absorber to the lower suspension arm (see photo) remove the shock absorber from under the lower arm.

5. Remove the lower seal and thrust washer

6. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Tighten the nuts and bolts of the fasteners to the specified torque.

9. Reduce the shock absorber.

10. Unscrew the upper shock absorber mounting nut, remove the washer and unscrew the bolt.

11. Remove the shock absorber.

12. Installation is performed in the reverse order. Install the bolts in the same positions they were in before removal. Tighten the nuts and bolts of the fasteners to the specified torque.
