2. Raise the front of the car and place it on stands. Remove the wheel. Set the parking brake.
3. Disconnect the steering rod end from the steering knuckle. Remove the brake caliper, move it to the side and secure it. Remove the brake disc.
4. Loosen the axle shaft/hub nut.
5. Raise the lower arm with a jack and disconnect the steering knuckle from the lower ball joint.
Attention! Do not remove the jack until the work is completely completed.
6. Holding the steering knuckle, separate it from the upper ball joint.
7. Remove the hub assembly with the steering knuckle by pressing the hub off the axle shaft with a puller.
8. If it is necessary to remove the hub, unscrew the 3 bolts and separate the hub from the steering knuckle.
9. Check the condition of the oil seal on the rear side of the steering knuckle. If damage is found, replace the oil seal by prying it out and pressing in a new one using a mandrel.
10. Installation is performed in the reverse order. Lubricate the axle shaft splines. Tighten all fasteners to the specified torques.
