Rear shock absorbers — removal and installation (Chevrolet Tahoe 1)

1. Raise the rear of the vehicle and place it on stands. Block the front wheels.
2. Unscrew the nuts and bolts of the upper shock absorber mount on the frame bracket (see photo).



3. Unscrew the lower mounting nut, remove the washer and bolt from the bracket (see photo).



4. Remove the shock absorber.

5. Installation is performed in the reverse order. Install the shock absorber mounting bolts in their original position.
