Decreased pressure in the engine fuel system (Chevrolet Cruze J300)

Warning: The fuel in the fuel system is under high pressure, so do not loosen the fuel line connections while the engine is running or immediately after it has been stopped. To repair the fuel system on an engine that has just been stopped, you must first reduce the fuel pressure in the fuel system. 5-6 hours after the engine has been stopped, the fuel pressure in the fuel system will drop to almost zero.


1. Place the gearshift lever in neutral position and apply the parking brake.

2. Turn off the ignition, open the hood and place it on the support.

3. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
