Clean the area to be repaired from dirt and rinse with water.
Wipe the surface dry.
Protruding burrs, sharp edges, weld splashes (if available), and also remove peeling and blistering paintwork and visible corrosion carefully using a grinding tool, without damaging adjacent painted areas.
Remove sanding dust.
Treat areas stripped down to the metal and corrosion that cannot be removed mechanically with a rag soaked in the "AntiOxy" converter.
Allow to stand for 3...5 minutes, keeping the treated surfaces moist with the "AntiOxy" composition.
Remove corrosion products in the form of a coating on adjacent painted areas with a rag soaked in the "AntiOxy" converter. Remove rust coating carefully, avoiding contact of the composition with undamaged paintwork.
Rinse the treated surfaces with water, blow with compressed air, and dry naturally.
Degrease the treated areas of the body parts connection (flange, welded joint), apply a primer, then a layer of joint mastic such as Terokal 8021-52, enamel in the body color from among the materials used in the painting area. Dry the primer, joint mastic and enamel with an infrared lamp.
Treat hidden sections with anti-corrosion protective material Merkasol 831 ML or Mercasol Transparent ML or Non Drip Transparent, and non-visible painted surfaces with material Merkasol 845 AL.
