Lamps — replacement (Chevrolet Tahoe 1)

1. The glass diffusers of many lighting fixtures are attached with screws (see photo).

2. On some lighting fixtures, the diffusers are attached with brackets or spring clips. The diffusers are removed either by unlatching them or by prying up the bracket from under which the diffuser is pulled out.

4. To replace the upper brake light, unscrew the screws securing the lens and remove it. Unscrew the screws securing the lamp holder and disconnect the connector. Remove the lamp with the holder.

5. To replace the upper instrument panel light bulb, press the holder and turn to the left. Remove the holder, remove the bulb and socket from the back of the holder. Remove the bulb from the socket by pulling the bulb.
