External door handle (Chevrolet Tahoe 2)

Removal

1. Remove the door trim panel.

2. Remove the door seal.

3. Disconnect the lock rod from the handle.



4. Disconnect the rod from the door lock cylinder.

5. Fix the outside handle on the door with adhesive tape to prevent it from falling after loosening the nuts.

6. Remove the rubber plug from the outer nut access hole.



7. Remove the locking clip and remove the lock cylinder from the outer handle housing.



8. Loosen the fastening nuts. Tightening torque 9 Nm.





9. Remove the handle.

Installation

10. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
