Door lock drive (Chevrolet Tahoe 2)

Removal

Note: here are instructions for replacing the front door lock, replacing the rear door lock drive is carried out in a similar way.

1. Raise the window glass.

2. Remove the door trim panel.

3. Remove the door seal.

4. Disconnect the lock rod from the inside door handle.



5. Release the manual release rod from the support clips in the door.



6. Remove the rubber plug (1) from the door frame to access the outer door handle rod. Disconnect the rod.



7. Disconnect the lock cylinder rod.



8. Loosen the bolts securing the lock drive to the door. Tightening torque 9 Nm.

9. Remove the lock drive and rod assembly.

10. Disconnect the door lock actuator wiring connector.

11. If necessary, disconnect from the traction drive.

Installation

12. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
