Front seat safety belt (Chevrolet Tahoe 2)

Removal

1. Move the front seat as far forward as possible.

2. Remove the upholstery and padding from the front seat back.

3. To access the seat belt mount, remove the foam insert from the cardboard.

4. Remove the cardboard holders.

5. To access the lower seat belt pretensioner mounting bolt, slide the cardboard insert.

6. Loosen the pretensioner mounting bolt. Tightening torque 53 Nm.



7. Loosen the pretensioner cover mounting screw. Tightening torque 2 Nm.



8. Remove the pretensioner cover.

9. Loosen the upper pretensioner mounting bolt. Tightening torque 53 Nm.



10. Remove the seat belt pretensioner.

Installation

11. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
