Side impact sensor (Chevrolet Tahoe 2)

Removal

1. Disable the passive safety system (see section "Disabling and connecting the passive safety system").

2. Remove the front door trim panel (see chapter "Body").

3. Loosen the two bolts (2) securing the side sensor. Tightening torque 10 Nm.

3. Loosen the two bolts (2) securing the side sensor. Tightening torque 10 Nm.

4. Remove the side impact sensor (1) from the front door (4).

5. Disconnect connectors (3) and (5).

Installation

6. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

7. Connect the passive safety system (see section "Disabling and connecting the passive safety system").
