Front passenger airbag (Chevrolet Tahoe 2)

Removal

1. Remove the instrument panel trim on the right side (see chapter "Body").

2. Disable the passive safety system (see section "Disabling and connecting the passive safety system").

3. Disconnect the connector (2) from the instrument panel.



4. Loosen the front passenger airbag mounting bolts/nuts. Tightening torque:

• models before 2003 10 Nm
• models since 2003 9 Nm

5. Remove the airbag.

Installation

6. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

7. Connect the passive safety system (see section "Disabling and connecting the passive safety system").
