Seat occupant monitoring system (2003 and later models) (Chevrolet Tahoe 2)

Removal

1. Remove the front passenger seat cushion upholstery and padding.

2. Disconnect the connectors.

3. Loosen the bolts securing the unit (1) of the passenger presence detection system to the seat base.



4. Disconnect the switch (2) from the seat cushion base.

5. Disconnect the holders (1) securing the cylinder to the seat base.

6. Remove the system unit assembly.

Installation

7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
