1. The choice for control between the right or left mirror is made by setting the switch (2) to the corresponding positions:
Switch to the right - right mirror; moving the switch to the left - left mirror. Further adjustment of the mirror position is carried out by pressing the corresponding sector of the switch (1).

After setting the mirror to the required position, set the switch (1) to the middle position.
2. (Cadillac Escalade). Some models are equipped with an automatic folding mirror system. The mirrors are folded by pressing the left or right side of the switch (1) when it is in the middle position.

3. (Chevrolet Tahoe). Some models are equipped with retractable side rearview mirrors. These mirrors provide a better view to the rear when driving with a trailer. On models without electric drive, pull the mirror housing away from the car to extend it. On models with electric drive, press the left part of the switch (1) when it is in the middle position to extend the mirrors.

4. When moving the automatic transmission selector to the "R" position (reversing) the side rear-view mirrors automatically change the angle of the mirror elements, which makes it easier to park the car. To change the angle of the mirror elements when reversing, set the automatic transmission selector to the "R" position and adjust the mirrors (see above).
Automatic dimming system for the interior rearview mirror
Some models are equipped with an automatic dimming system for the interior rearview mirror, which reduces the glare from headlights of vehicles driving behind reflected by the mirror.
Note: On some models, the side rearview mirrors also dim when the system is operating.
1. Make sure that the auto-dimming interior rearview mirror indicator on the interior mirror panel is on. If the indicator is not on, press and hold the "ON/OFF" button for more than six seconds. After the indicator is on, the mirror will automatically darken depending on the lighting conditions to reduce glare from headlights of vehicles driving behind you at night.
Note: In cold weather, it may take longer for the mirrors to darken than in warm weather.

The system sensor is located on the rear side of the mirror. Do not place foreign objects on the interior mirror or cover the sensor with them. The location of the sensor is shown in the figure.

If the mirror dimming system operates too late, check the sensitivity of the sensor.
2. To turn off the automatic dimming system of the interior rearview mirror, press the "ON/OFF" button for more than six seconds, and the indicator on the mirror will go out.
