Removal
1. Remove the upper fan diffuser.
2. Install the holder onto the fan coupling.
3. Loosen the fan hub fastening nut to the water pump by turning it counterclockwise. Tightening torque 56 N·m.
4. From the rear of the coupling, unscrew the bolts securing the fan blades to the coupling. Tightening torque 23 N·m.
5. Separate the fan coupling from the fan blades.
Caution: Do not use damaged fan blades or attempt to repair damaged blades. Unbalanced blades may fly apart and cause damage to the vehicle or personal injury.
Installation
6. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
