Upper diffuser of mechanical fan (Chevrolet Tahoe 2)

Removal



1. Loosen the air cleaner outlet duct clamps at the throttle body. Tightening torque 4 N·m.

2. Loosen the air filter outlet duct clamps at the mass air flow sensor. Tightening torque 4 N·m.

3. Remove the air duct.

4. If installed, remove the throttle body heater hose clips from the diffuser.

4. If installed, remove the throttle body heater hose clips from the diffuser.


5. If installed, remove the upper radiator hose support clip from the diffuser.

6. Remove the fan diffuser fasteners.

6. Remove the fan diffuser fasteners.


7. Loosen the fan diffuser mounting bolts. Tightening torque 9 Nm.

7. Loosen the fan diffuser mounting bolts. Tightening torque 9 Nm.


8. Remove the upper fan diffuser.



Installation



9. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
