Hub and brake disc (10.5 inch) (Chevrolet Tahoe 2)

Removal

1. Raise the vehicle.

2. Remove the rear wheel.

3. Remove the brake caliper.

4. Remove the axle shaft

5. Remove the wheel bearing adjusting nut retaining ring.



6. Remove the key.



7. Using a special key, unscrew the wheel bearing adjusting nut.



8. Remove the adjusting nut.





9. Remove the hub.



10. Remove the brake disc.

Installation

11. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. When installing, adjust the preload of the wheel bearing. Check and adjust the oil level in the gearbox housing.
