Shock absorber (rear) — removal and installation (Chevrolet Trailblazer 1)

            0

1. Raise the rear of the vehicle and place vertical supports under the frame rails. To prevent the vehicle from rolling, place chocks under the front wheels.

Note: It is not necessary to remove the rear wheels when performing this procedure. It is recommended to remove the wheels only to gain greater access to the shock absorbers.

2. Support the rear axle with a floor jack located under the axle shaft liner on the side of the vehicle from which the shock absorber is being removed.

3. Unscrew the upper and lower shock absorber fasteners (see illustration).
